Steelflex® Panel is a flexible microporous insulation material developed for backup of refractory linings in steelmaking industries and high-temperature applications. It combines low thermal conductivity, high compressive strength and an aluminized covering that protects the microporous core from moisture and chemical agents. Especially recommended for casting or molten metal transfer ladles, transfer launders, torpedo cars, tundishes, electric arc furnaces, degassers and other equipment in the foundry or steel industry.
