novaphit® MST Gasket is a multilayer flat gasket composed of high-purity expanded graphite with multiple expanded metal and smooth metal inserts made of AISI 316L stainless steel. Due to this construction, it offers higher mechanical stability and greater compressibility, resulting in higher sealing performance. It has a non-stick coating (XP Technology) that prevents the gasket from adhering to the flange, eliminating the need to scrape the surface during replacement. This reduces the time required to replace the gasket and minimizes the chance of flange damage. Recommended for industrial sealing under severe pressure, temperature and chemical environment conditions.
