A white Microtherm Overstitched panel, flexible and folded, with a visible grid pattern on the surface.

Microtherm Overstitched

Problem solved

Facilitates thermal protection of areas with complex geometries; Reduces the risk of cracks and structural damage due to thermal shocks and/or vibrations; Offers very low thermal conductivity.

Main applications

Thermal jackets; Aluminum furnaces and troughs; Reduction cells; Anode baking furnaces; Molten metal ladles.

Technical features

Flexible microporous insulation panels, produced with an outer fiberglass envelope, allowing clean and easy handling. The formulation is an opacified blend of microporous filament reinforced with pyrogenic silica or alumina.

Temperature:up to 1000 °C
Density:220 kg/m³
Thermal conductivity:0.026 - 0.049 W/m.K
Dimensions:1200 x 900 x 10 mm

Microtherm® Overstitched is a flexible microporous insulation panel for high-temperature applications, composed of a microporous core enclosed in a fiberglass envelope. Its stitched and malleable structure allows easy adaptation to curved and irregular surfaces, reducing heat losses in industrial equipment with complex geometries.
