MICROTHERM® PANEL is a high-temperature microporous insulation panel designed for applications requiring low thermal conductivity, reduced heat losses or surface temperature control where space is limited. The panels are custom-made and feature a glass fabric outer covering, which facilitates handling and keeps the material clean during installation. The 1000R and 1000R HY versions have a core of opacified, filament-reinforced pyrogenic silica, while the 1200 version features an alumina-based formulation. The 1000R HY version has a hydrophobic core treatment, recommended for applications where contact with liquid water or condensation may occur.
