Used in a wide range of industrial applications, insulating boards offer important properties for the thermal insulation of equipment

Flexmica is based on minerals from the mica group, such as muscovite and phlogopite. These silicates have a naturally layered structure, forming something like a “mineral laminate” that effectively prevents the propagation of both heat and electricity.
Muscovite, rich in aluminum and potassium, is known for its excellent dielectric strength, meaning it maintains electrical insulation even under high voltage. It withstands temperatures up to 900 °C (in specific applications) without degrading, cracking, or losing its insulating properties.
Phlogopite, which contains magnesium, offers even greater heat and chemical resistance. It is the recommended choice for harsh industrial environments, where the material must endure extreme temperatures and multiple thermal cycles while maintaining structural integrity.
The combination of these minerals with silicone resins and fiberglass reinforcement results in a material that is as flexible and lightweight as paper, yet remarkably strong, non-combustible, and reliable.
Although it is made from a ceramic mineral, Flexmica is not brittle. Its rollable, paper-like form allows it to easily conform to curved surfaces, coils, and cavities.
It can be cut, folded, and applied in confined or complex areas without any loss of performance — a key advantage for technical assemblies and quick maintenance operations.
Flexmica represents the perfect balance between the natural structure of mica and modern industrial engineering. What you get is much more than just an insulator:
🟩 High-purity natural minerals (muscovite and phlogopite)
🟩 Low thermal and electrical conductivity
🟩 Stability under heat, vibration, and humidity
🟩 Fire protection without loose fibers or toxic emissions
🟩 Flexibility and adaptability to any industrial geometry
If your challenge involves extreme heat and sensitive electrical systems, Flexmica is an intelligent technical choice designed to last.
